This adorable little human made me a Mom 6 months ago. It's the wild ride everyone warns you about...challenging, warm, frustrating, lovely, exhausting and most of all fulfilling. My life is complete now that I'm a Mom. I've always longed to be the someone that comforted a little soul in the middle of the night, and be the one who looks down to see two little arms raised up begging to be held.
Now, I am.
As I bring Harrison into our bed around 2-3:00 am, I feel his little hands reach for my face to make sure I'm close by. He then sighs and settles back to sleep, comforted by the fact that I'm near.
I hope one day he knows how much comfort his presence has brought me. He's made my world.
