I had the most wonderful birthday this year...celebrating as a new mom. I had absolutely no expectations and really didn't even remember it was my birthday until the day before. The day was cold and rainy...so I could pretend that we were on vacation in Seattle.
Then my too good to be true husband surprised me with a dozen pink roses and a new pair of Kate Spade flats. I've been telling him that I think my feet grew a half size since being pregnant, and that all my shoes feel tight. He went out and bought me the most adorable ruby patent leather flats. I've promised to wear them everyday...
We ended the day having dinner at Bloom where I had the best dinner and ate two {yes two} desserts. I felt like a happy pig when I went home.
